Are there any questions you would like to elaborate on?
•What sort of profession in the wizarding world would you choose and why?
If there was just one profession that I could choose from it would be a teacher at Hogwarts. The reason that I would like to teach there, is the ability to mold a wizard or witch into a good member of society. (Yes, I understand that Hogwarts could (and has) also turn out some not so good members of society.) It’s just like any other school, but
•Elaboration: I realized that I didn’t finish the question up. What a dork I am! Hogwarts is just like any other school. There are nice kids, and bad kinds. But, the most wonderful part about Hogwarts is that these children get to be taught Potions, and Transfiguration, and Charms. For me, being able to teach in the same school that has a Centaur. Just Awesome!
•If you could choose your animagus form, what would it be and why? If I could choose my animagus form, I think I would choose to be a Puffin. Not any type would do, but a Horned Puffin. They are amazing birds that spend their lives at sea. They come on land to mate and they mate for life. They can dive down 200 feet for food and fly just a few feet above the water. They are small birds, but pretty good swimmers.
•Elaboration: After thinking about this a little, I decided that no. I really wouldn’t want to be a Puffin. I would rather be an Alaskan Sled Dog (different breed than Husky or Malamute). These animals are brave. When a Moose comes into their path, they do not back down even when that Moose is trying to run them down. They are strong. They are determined. They can run for miles and miles and know how to survive if left on their own!
Explain why you feel misplaced in your current House! This was a hard decision for me to appeal this sorting. I have tried to wait as long as I could to appeal because I figured that I needed to give my house a chance. I don't think I am a true Hufflepuff. I look at the qualities of a Hufflepuff and as much as I agree that I do exhibit some of their traits, I exhibit more traits of other houses. I think when my application was submitted, I did have a push towards 'Puff. It wasn't my intention, but it is because I've been homesick and have felt so sorry for my best friend for losing her house during Hurricane Katrina. I really feel that my personality fits in with another house. I am the type of person who needs to have excitement in my life. I love adventure and heading off into the unknown and I don't think is a trait that is widely exhibited in Hufflepuff. But, what I figured out was this house really didn't seem like true Hufflepuffs or what I imagine Hufflepuffs to be. The House Cup is an honor to win, and I have been a Hufflepuff Top Voter since I joined

What would you see in the Mirror of Erised? Be exact with your descriptions! If I was to look in the Mirror of Erised at this moment, I would see me walking down the stage to get my second Bachelor's degree. I would like to be through with school and out there in the world making a difference with my degree. (Yes, lofty goals, but I think they need great nurses out there!)
What makes you unique?I like to try about anything. I am a musician. I have played piano since I was 5, French Horn since I was 10. I also play the Mandolin, Guitar, Oboe, Flute, Handbells, and can pick up any instrument and be able to play it not long after I have started. I am great with languages. I speak German, Spanish. I know ASL. I have a degree in Psychology and am working towards a degree in Nursing. I love the outdoors and go primitive camping along with kayaking and rappelling. I am an extensive world traveler. I love going to new places. I am avid photographer and I can’t wait until I am able to learn how to fly (which will start after I get my degree).

Date: 2006-03-27 08:25 pm (UTC)Gryffindor: I would choose the song Courage by Manowar. Here is what drew me to this song.
Battles are fought by those with the courage to believe
They are won by those who find the heart
Find a heart to share
This heart that fills the soul will point the way to victory
If there’s a fight then I’ll be there I’ll be there
Hufflepuff: I think You've Got a Friend in me fits perfectly due to these lyrics:
Some other folks might be
A little bit smarter than I am
Bigger and stronger too
Maybe
But none of them will ever love you the way I do
It's me and you
And as the years go by
Boys, our friendship will never die
You're gonna see
It's our destiny
You've got a friend in me
Ravenclaw: Just because this is an awesome song, I would choose School House Rocks
As your body grows bigger
Your mind grows flowered
It's great to learn
Cause knowledge is power!
It's Schoolhouse Rocky
That chip off the block
Of your favourite schoolhouse
Schoolhouse Rock!
I'll post the Slytherin song in just a few minutes.

Date: 2006-03-27 09:55 pm (UTC)T`was in the early evenin`
Near the presence of the moon
You told me you would meet me here
Well now is not too soon
This dagger twisting in my back
Tells me I never should
Have trusted everything to fall
From beggar to fool
I see your face like every race
A serpent with two arms
Devouring me while rains the sun
With dreams in foreign lands
This cold dark tormented hell
Is all I`ll ever know
So when you get to heaven
May the devil be the judge
With another bag of bricks
I scratch your name across these walls
And with my blood turns red
Then drips upon my killing floor
Where I now call my bed
No precious light to harbor
Like so many here before
Now breathes a thousand more
With another bag of bricks
