Have you read the guidelines in our user information? Think you can handle that? If so, feel free to fill out this handy-dandy questionnaire:

ATTENTION ALL NEW APPLICANTS

As this post isn't a secure place to post appeals due to the fact that people are sent notifications when I'm forced to unscreen applications to respond to them, and because I want to keep your privacy, as the applicant, secure until you actually start your appeal, we are going to go with a new procedure.

Please submit your application for an appeal via Google Docs:

Once you've submitted that, please comment here with your name and house just so I make sure to get a notification/don't miss your appeal. Since I won't respond to your comment, your appeal should stay private until it actually starts. All further communication will be via email or PM.

This is also the place to come to if you have any questions about the appeals process. Comments are screened.

Hi there! Yes, applicants have to transfer to the house they are sorted to in the end, whichever house that ends up being. Hope this helps!

Hi there! For any situation where the applicant is resorted, we'll count the month from the time that you were last sorted into the house for the following reasons:

Houses can change and people's experiences in them can also change, so we'd like you to take the time this second time around to give the house a chance before choosing to appeal, in case it's a different experience.

Giving you more than a month at your second-sort house also gives current prefects the chance to better assess how viable the request for an appeal is.

We'd like to have a consistent rule that can be applied regardless of whether or not the past and current houses are the same or different.
