Welcome to the official appeals questionnaire entry!

Have you read the guidelines in our user information? Think you can handle that? If so, feel free to fill out this handy-dandy questionnaire:

ATTENTION ALL NEW APPLICANTS

It has come to my attention that this post isn't a secure place to post appeals due to the fact that people are sent notifications when I'm forced to unscreen applications to respond to them. Because I want to keep your privacy, as the applicant, secure until you actually start your appeal, we are going to experiment with a new procedure.

Once you've submitted that, please comment here with your name and house just so I make sure to get a notification/don't miss your appeal. Since I won't respond to your comment, your appeal should stay private until it actually starts. All further communication will be via email or PM.

This is also the place to come to if you have any questions about the appeals process. Comments are screened.

Nope, Iris and I have already gone over it, so you're good to go. I'm looking to drop your appeal on the 5th or 6th (well, 6th my time in Asia) so if you could have your app in the queue by then we can get you going. Only reason I'd push it back was if I didn't have enough judges, which I don't think will be the case. ;)

I mean, it all depends on how long it takes you to fully answer questions. The judges are looking for you to really flesh out the answers, so they probably will become fairly time consuming, since each judge tends to ask several questions that may have several parts. If you want, I can push it back and drop it on the 9th so its not an issue, and then I just won't rush getting the judges prepped as much, so the choice is yours.

Your appeal has been approved! However, we have one appeal ahead of you that hasn't started quite yet, so I anticipate dropping your appeal sometime between the 20th and 24th of May. I'll get in touch with you a bit closer with a more firm date, but feel free to start working on the application so you'll be ready to go in a few weeks.

Hi Jude,

I just wanted to let you know that there are currently two appeals ahead of you in the queue, so we may not get to your appeal until late May or early June. In the meantime, I recommend you keep being active in your house so I can easily get approval. I'll be back in touch a bit closer to the end of the month with approval and a timeline for the appeal, so sit tight for now!

There is one appeal ahead of you in the queue as well as one in progress, so if approved, I would anticipate starting your appeal between July 3rd and 6th. I will let you know a more firm date once your appeal is approved and we're a bit closer, but please let me know if any time in early July absolutely won't work for you so we can work around that!

I would say the more thorough to start with, the better. The more information we have when voting on your appeal, the better, so give us all you can to start with and then the judges can ask for the information they feel is missing/that they still want after the fact. :)

Your appeal has been approved! Feel free to start working on your application, and I'll let you know when you can request access to the appeals community. Unless you have any objections/know you'll be busy, I plan to drop your appeal on July 6th Asia time/July 5th USA time. The judges will have questions for you that will need to be answered within a week or so of the drop date, so please let me know if you will be unavailable that week or have any other issues that might impact your appeal. If there are no issues, I'll plan to drop it then, so keep working on that application and I'll be back in touch when you can request access to the community!

Our prior appeal has been canceled, but we'll keep to our original schedule regardless, so please get your application in the queue as soon as possible so we don't have any delays in the process.

I don't really see a huge issue with it. As long as no drama or judge bashing or anything else like that comes out of it (unlikely, I know, but I like to cover my bases) I don't see why not. And besides, its good for people to get a glimpse at the appeal process anyways XD

Hi Katie,

The approval process for your appeal has started! There is one appeal ahead of you in the queue so it's going to take us a little while to get to your appeal with your time frame. I'll be on vacation the first week of August but I'll see if I can arrange for your appeal to start at the very very end of July so questioning can happen that week while I'm gone. We still have some time so let me look over the appeals calendar and I'll get back to you with a more firm date once your appeal is approved and we're a bit closer. But for now, please either plan on starting around July 31st, or August 7th or so. In the meantime, feel free to start looking at the appeals questionnaire, and I'll let you know once your appeal has been approved.

Hi Katie,

Your appeal has been approved! Feel free to start working on your application now. I'll comment again later in July when you can join the community (it'll be a bit before your trip so you can get your appeal in before you go if you want), so look for that comment in a little bit. Do you have any preference for which date you would like to begin? I can either do the 31st (in Asia) or 7th (Asia as well) and after, since I'll be traveling during the week though I should have internet while I'm gone, so it is up to you which you prefer. So please let me know and we can plan on starting then!

Awesome. I'll probably have you request membership sometime around the 15th or so. I'll comment again when I'm ready for you. In the meantime, spend time on your application so you're happy with it and ready to go :)

And that works just fine with me. I'll be bringing a computer and the places I'm staying seem to have internet, so I should be able to keep an eye on things and will be back in time to get the process moving/not delay your answer, so if you prefer that we will make the 31st our target date and go with it. :)
