Hi there! For any situation where the applicant is resorted, we'll count the month from the time that you were last sorted into the house for the following reasons:

  • Houses can change and people's experiences in them can also change, so we'd like you to take the time this second time around to give the house a chance before choosing to appeal, in case it's a different experience.
  • Giving you more than a month at your second-sort house also gives current prefects the chance to better assess how viable the request for an appeal is.
  • We'd like to have a consistent rule that can be applied regardless of whether or not the past and current houses are the same or different.
