Mmm. I'm picturing two rooms right now.

Depending on my mood,
It would be a big room, with dark furnishings... I'm thinking maroonish, maybe purple or chocolate brown... There would be a king sized bed, with an odd assortment of pillows, not all matching, but nice. My stuffed Polar Bear, Klondike would be there [i've had him since third grade, and love him to death] The mattress would be extremely soft, but firm, so I wouldn't have to worry about hurting my back, and it would be very tall. The lighting would be dim around the bed... Probably a wall sconce to the left and the right of the bed, low light or even candle light, a couple standing lamps in the corners opposite the bed to brighten things up when needed, and a soft wall-to-wall carpet. Most of the furniture would be either cherry wood or mahogany with designs engraved into them, and there would be two massive windows that overlooked a garden of blossoming trees.

The other option would still be very large, and still with a king sized bed. The sheets would be white or a very light color, extremely soft, with an airy but incredibly warm comforter. The walls would be off white, and the floors would be hard wood. I'd have an area rug in the middle, but it would be made of something deliciously soft. One of the walls would be one huge window overlooking a lake, or maybe just a view of mountains or a forest... it would have curtains, but they wouldn't be thick or heavy, just enough to block the light when needed. Again with the standing lamps, and the furniture would either be bamboo, or black wood. [Of course, klondike would be there too!]

in both of the rooms, the bed would be positioned against one of the walls, directly in the center, or close. the first room, the door would be to the bottom left hand side of the bed, and in the second, it would be to the top right, down a very small hallway. both rooms would have art work, but nothing too fancy, and both have a bathroom off to the side.

mm. I want to go to bed now... :)
