You're stuck on a desert island. You get one book, one CD, and one person. What/whom do you bring? Why? Book: Do they have a compilation of the Harry Potter books yet? If they did, I'd bring that... if not, I'd probably bring the compilation they have of Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials. I have a very vivid imagination, to the point where if I get into a book enough, I get so into it that I feel like I'm there, watching everything happen from the sidelines, but I'm still in the book. These two series have drawn up so much in my head, that I feel almost as if I am the character something is happening to... I get excited when something amazing happens, I get horribly depressed when something bad happens... When I was reading the Order of the Phoenix for the first time, for the whole week I had it, I was incredibly mopey and irritable... I felt like everything that was happening to Harry was happening to me. Both series have just enough imagery to give you a good picture, but not so much that I can't make my own world out of the bits and pieces given... I have read both series so many times, but I feel like I could read them a hundred more... I just don't get sick of them!\
What two houses do you see the most in yourself? Why? Honestly, I think I am very much a Slytherclaw. I see a lot of snake in me, obviously others do too... I believe myself to be extremely resourceful... I tend to make 'something out of nothing' so to speak... I do think quite a bit of myself in the sense that I don't want to get myself in trouble, so I would probably let someone take the blame for something that I should have... my morals aren't always in the right place... I see Ravenclaw too, as I said in one of my previous comments, I feel that I have a lot of common sense. I am very good at seeing things others miss, including moods people have but aren't quite showing, things that are on the sidelines, but some wouldn't notice without a second glance... [Ex. the first Harry Potter book, when Hermione ran to put Snape on fire, and knocked Flitwick over, I didn't really think much of it, but I did definitely notice...] I have allways though Ravenclaw to be a very.. sarcastic house... I know most people would associate that to Slytherin, but... in my head, Sarcasm and cleverness go hand in hand... [Right along side whit]
We don't know Barty Crouch, Jr's canon house. Sort him and explain why you'd put him there. That, my friend, is an excellent question. Very difficult too.. haha. I'm sure the obvious answer would be Slytherin... and in many ways, I can see that being the case... He definitely has the ambition... He wanted to be Voldemort's right hand, and basically was... until he was killed...He managed to work his way out of the Imperius curse, which I can only imagine how much will that took... Slytherins seem to me to be very loyal to their cause, unless they get caught and it turns out to be 'bad' [Malfoy's claiming to be magicked into following Voldemort] He pleaded with his father, saying he was innocent, begging him to believe him... Trying to save his own neck... pah. I also saw a bit of Ravenclaw in him... He was very intelligent, and very clever. When getting out of the Imperius curse, Not only did it take will, but he had to figure out what was going on first, and then figure out how to reverse the effects. He had to catch Moody with his pants down, which would have been hard, given how paranoid he was, and he had to fake being one of the best Aurors in the Wizarding World... I think that Slytherin wins out in the end, just because of his want for power, and his desire to please Voldemort...
What is your favorite color? It's a tie between Purple and Navy blue. ... Do you need any more of an explanation than that? >_>
